The Cascades Twist and Shout Team was founded in 2002 with a commitment to enjoy the sport of dragon boating. The main mission of the team is to provide an opportunity for fun and fitness with the social support of team members.  The team enjoys competition and aspires to do well at the local and regional level.

The members of Twist and Shout are paddlers who are either new to the sport of Dragon Boating or those for whom participation is more important than winning.

Our objective for 2010 is to focus on fitness and good paddling technique and compete at 3-5 one-day community regattas within a few hours driving from Chelsea/Ottawa.
